Join the group (in the upper right corner) to participate in threads, "like" posts, and sign up for notifications from this group.
Once a group member, click on the bell in the upper right corner to customise your notifications.

If you want to be notified of new events and articles, go to "All articles" and "Events" and click Join in the upper right corner.
