Do you have a template to prepare for your Class ?

Hello,
I'm new to this :) so my first instinct is just show up with my powerpoint and present and remember to ask questions ... But I feel like Class has more opportunities to create activities and collaborate with students, I just don't know where to start, and how do go from just a regular "conference style" to making something more interactive.
How do you prepare for you Class ? Do you have a template, a list of activities you like to always add ? I'm not super expert on those tools, so I'm not looking for something complicated, but a way to get me started sprinkling things to make my class more interesting.
