Today I tried to demonstrate how lecturers could provide participants with a link to a shared office 365 file using the chat panel in collaborate.  However part of the link automatically gets converted to an emoji.
This is an example of a link
https://bonduni-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/dmartin_bond_edu_au/Eb92WBqPCdBDoqe1tpxGcJ8Bu3-ktu1B2kONcg4dpZN6XA?e=hut3ga
This is what collaborate ultra posts into the chat window:
bonduni-my.sharepoint.com
‚ùå
/g/personal/dmartin_bond_edu_au/Eb92WBqPCdBDoqe1tpxGcJ8Bu3-ktu1B2kONcg4dpZN6XA?e=hut3ga
I could convert to a bitly, but this is just another tool that lecturers and students would need to use.
Does anyone know of a way of posting a chat message without the emoji convert happening?
Emoji ruins sharepoint/office365 links in chat
